I have been around horses for virtually all my life. I have experience with many equine disciplines including Dressage, Driving, Flat Racing, Jumping with both privately and commercially owned horses. My overarching inspiration was my elderly horse who taught me so much about ageing horses and how precious they are. He also taught me how best to keep him healthy and active for as long as possible.
I qualified as an Equinology Equine Body Worker (EEBW) in 2018, and i am a member of the International Equine Body Workers Association. I currently offer Sports Massage and Therapeutic Massage for horses, Gait Analysis and Biomechanics in and around Chelmsford, Cambridge and surrounding areas. Massage Therapy can result in:
Reduced Tension & Pain
Improved Circulation
Increased range of motion
Increased suppleness
Reduce Muscle fatigue
Improved Core Strength
Improved balance
Amongst many many others!
I am fully committed to my continued professional development, and strive to keep up to date with the latest research in the equine field.
Equine Sports Therapy is not a substitute for proper Veterinary Care.
Under the 1966 Veterinary Act it is a legal requirement to seek permission from from the animals Veterinary Surgeon before therapy. In the majority of cases i will ask the owner to contact their vet directly however in some rehabilitation cases it may be helpful for me to contact the vet personally to ensure any programme of recovery is adhered too.
